Bible Prophecy Commentary – Financial Collapse Coming?

Taxpayers in America fund some pretty amazing projects around the world. In light of our current debt ($16+ trillion) should we be doing this and what could be the impact? In Rev 6:5-6, the Black horse rider seems to bring a major financial crisis which equates to stifling inflation. With America creating and spending money like never before in history especially since so many are out of work, what we happen to the financial security umbrella we have been under for so long? Collapse? …stay tuned… (Hint: what happened in 2007-08? Answer)

Bible Prophecy Commentary:

So it this is actually the case … why is it happening? Could this contribute to a worldwide food shortage? Food prices increasing beyond measure, perhaps due to an massive economic collapse, seems to be the payload or judgment delivered by the Black horse and rider of Rev 6:5-6 and or in combination with a famine judgment delivered by the Pale horse in Rev 6:7-8. People all over need to be paying attention to the signs in nature that seem to be occurring with increased frequency and intensity.

The men who have done the most for God in this world have been early on their knees. He who fritters away the early morning, its opportunity and freshness, in other pursuits than seeking God will make poor headway seeking Him the rest of the day. If God is not first in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of the day.”  –E. M. Bounds

Bible Prophecy Commentary – Christian Persecution

Political correctness (PC) is just another term for trying to rid America of the name of Jesus Christ and persecute Christians. This is sickening and contributes to why America is spiritually sick and dying. We need Christians and Christian churches to take a stand against the denigration of the Christian faith. We need people to speak up and step out that will stand up for Christ and the Bible. What we don't need are people who hide their heads in the sand and do and say nothing. America is full of  impotent Christian churches, pastors and elders that do little to lead the people in the direction of heralding the call of Christ in and out of the church. The Apostle's Peter and Paul in the Bible stood up and proclaimed God's word even when the authorities forbade them. Stephen, a man full of faith, power and the Holy Spirit blasted the radicals and conservatives of the synagogue and accused them of faithlessness. To his end they stoned Stephen to death.

Today Christians are under increasing attack and are being subtly persecuted for their faith; this was prophesied by Jesus to increase in the last days of which we are in right now, in my opinion. We need more faithful men today like the faithful embattled apostles of the early church. I know I will continue to exalt and magnify the Lord Jesus Christ for the rest of my days on earth regardless of PC or any other twisted, unjust or skewed dictate.
