Bible Prophecy Commentary – Land Mourns:
In the last days we know that Jesus said there would be earthquakes in diverse place – Matt 24:7. The hills melting are a reference to volcanic activity in Nahum 1:5. All these things have been here and will increase across America and also the rest of the world. If you have read my posts you will have known this for I reference it frequently. Sin and rejection of God takes its toll on the land and not just the people. Sin degrades peoples lives and the earth. And … it will get a whole lot worse! Read about what is coming in the Book of Revelation in the form of trumpet and bowl judgments – Rev 6-19.
“The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. 4- The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. 5- The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6- Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left” -Isaiah 24:5-6 (KJV)
Where are you at today…? Saved or lost? You are either one or the other; no fence sitting. You will not step into eternity confused or not sure of where you are going – If you are in heaven with our Lord it will be glorious! If hell … you will know why you are there – Luke 16:19-31 – and it will be horrible and beyond imagination. Because God Almighty loves us so much, John 3:16 is about what God gave this world to save people from eternal separation from Him – and that’s the Lord Jesus Christ , His only begotten Son, and His atoning blood shed at the Cross of Calvary for you and me. ON the other hand and concerning John 3:17-19 (KJV) which is hardly ever read or preached on says:
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18-He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19-And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Please seek the Lord while He may be found. He is coming and we want to be found ready.
