Bible Prophecy Commentary – Rev 2nd Seal – Peace Removed:
The extended and growing unrest in Ferguson, MO is not normal. These things are occurring for a reason and that reason is rooted in the spiritual realm – and in this case that realm is of darkness and evil. These riots have become increasingly wicked; there are no further reasons to keep this mayhem going other than to cause more looting and destruction. Peace is being removed all across this planet – look at the Middle East and the other nations in turmoil. Christians are being senselessly persecuted and murdered. ISIS is killing people with no regard for human life. Terrorists are getting bolder. America’s southern border (its walls and gates) are down and quite possibly, many people with evil intentions are entering unabated. America has been given much from Almighty God and now this nation has/is kicking Him out. We have told Him in public life, from our government positions local and national and in the courts to get out. So, I believe, He has. This nation – America – will suffer much because of the many blessings God has bestowed on her in the past. A nation that has had everything in abundance has now turned its back on the Creator. To whom much has been given much is required – Luke 12:48.
Can you grasp the chaos and calamity when the economy collapses and/or if the Ebola virus proliferates? Or something else like a huge earthquake, sun CME or terrorist attack taking out electrical power, water, etc? Folks, the world is becoming more and more unstable both in nature and in mankind’s love and respect for one another. People are hating people more often and with more intensity. Now combine that with a financial, health, food crisis’ and we have major-league trouble. What I have described is the payload of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th horses described in Chapter 6 of the Book of Revelation. No it is not a happy time, it will be a time of massive trouble upon the earth. The Lord God says it’s coming, therefore, it will come.
But there’s hope! The Lord will not abandon the righteous, the ones who believe in His Son – Jesus Christ. Much trouble is coming but Jesus will comfort and provide hope for those that are suffering. Who do you put your hope in today?
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
