Bible Prophecy Commentary:  Israel at War-

The stakes are rising and Gaza will feel the wrath of Israel, no question. Even though Israel has practiced much restraint the Hamas terrorists have continued with their rocket barrage indiscriminate of where they landed or who they may have killed. We know that as the time before Christ’s second coming draws near many wars will break out against God’s land and people – Israel. The world, for the most part, is against their defending themselves but the world is absolutely wrong. Israel will become more and more isolated and will stand alone in the last days – Zech 12:3. But Almighty God will never leave them, in fact, His right hand is with them and they will never be defeated.

The question that begs an answer is where will this go now? Hamas has been emboldened by, I’m sure, Iran and many innocent are dying. Why? The hate and evil that persists against God’s people. What other nation/s will jump into this fray? Maybe this is some kind of test poised by Iran through their proxy Hamas to observe Israel’s resolve and offensive/defensive capabilities. Maybe it’s to test their ability to defend themselves. Perhaps it’s a way for their (Israel) enemies to assess their strategies? All unknown at this time. One thing for sure is that the persecution of Israel – their land and people – is at hand. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem – Psa 122:6.

Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.

Bible Prophecy Commentary – Devastating Drought in the US:

The US is again facing serious drought in the Western States. But why … why again in 2014? American’s have been stiff-arming Almighty God for sometime now and it seems that the western half of the US is leading the pack on sinful behavior and rebellion against God’s word. This is spanning many western states as America seeks to reject God and His Son Jesus Christ. Many mock Him and do not follow His truth as given to us in His Holy Writ – the Bible. Therefore, IMO, America is starting to feel His judgment whether it be remedial, warning, or correction, one cannot discount that America is facing troubles on all fronts – society, political, natural, moral consciousness. Governmental corruption, gay marriage sweeping America, our military in reduction, our superpower status diminished, our churches ‘dead’ on the inside, lawlessness sweeping city after city. Something’s terribly wrong!

Read the words of Amos that he pronounced on the wicked and unrepentant northern kingdom of Israel around 750 BC. Drought (lack of rain) is one of God’s methods of judgment to get people’s attention.

“And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.” – Amos 4:7-8 (KJV)

In other words, God will punish the wicked and evil of this world. Has America’s fullness of sin reached a trigger that has caused these calamities? Read 2 Chron 7:14-15. Some sobering scriptures.

Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Bible Prophecy Commentary:  Israel at War-

We know that Israel will face tremendous odds in the last days prior to the Lord’s return. They will face, according to Bible Prophecy, many difficult and challenging times especially in the way of conflict with other nations increasing until His return. Why? Their sin and rejection of the Messiah upon His first arrival prophesied in the OT and realized in the New Testament.

The Tribulation events prophesied in the NT’s Book of Revelation will herald in a time of great suffering both for Israel and the Gentile nations. Much war, much hate and much death. We are seeing, I believe, the initial stages of these wars and this time ramping up to the seven years of Tribulation – Dan 9:27. Iran is one of Israel’s greatest enemies and is currently trying every possible way to strike at Israel. Using Hamas as a force-by-proxy is a way of Iran possibly detracting world attention away from something more sinister or away from their ongoing nuclear program or …?

The current Iranian regime seeks only to destroy Israel and the US. Therefore, Iran is using the Hamas terrorist organization even through many Gaza lives have been lost already to their destructive influence and empowerment through messages of hate, weapons of war and conflict. In this current war, a truce offered by Israel (Egyptian proposal) has been rejected by Hamas which shows their true colors of extraordinary hate for the Jewish people and land.

The players for the Psalm 83 conflict are lining up, little by little, we can see the nations around Israel and the great sea being stirred up by the four winds of heaven – Dan 7:2. Time will continue to reveal what will unfold as this crisis and other events unpack (be revealed) in Bible Prophecy. Stay tuned…
