"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.." -Zech 12:3 (KJV)
Very important vote today folks! And there are really two of them. The climate change one is a smokescreen for the really important one – the UN's position on Israel building settlements in the West Bank. This being argued that it is against international law to continue the building. Even Abbas will be present for the climate change signing but what else will he be there for?
If the US abstains then Israel will have to halt all building and this will lead to a two-state solution by, as some say, Sept or Oct of this year. However, the UN vote today may just seal the deal. At any rate this may not bode well for the US in the eyes of the Lord.
The land of Israel is the apple of God's eye and when you mess – try and divide their land, especially in Jerusalem – you are messing with Almighty God.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the outcome of the UN session today – it may be historic and very prophetic. Last days prophecies are converging so it is extremely important for Christians to pay close attention to what is going on not only around them but in the world – especially in the Middle East and more importantly in Israel.
