Bible Prophecy Commentary – US Scandals – A Flood of Pride and Arrogance:
Absolutely unbelievable? So why do the scandals continue one after another in the halls of our government? Two words would sum it up IMO. And those two words are, "NO GOD"! America has stiff-armed Almighty God out of their lives and the leadership in the White House is no exception. God – "…he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:.." -Dan 2:21 and now we have who we deserve in terms of our unrepentant and growing sinful attitudes and lifestyles. Our officials have decided to follow what they think is right – Judges 21:25 – and therefore God is no longer in their thoughts – Psalm 10:4. There is, however, a boat-load of pride and arrogance emanating from our government leaders almost without exception. Folks, this nation is destroying itself internally.
We have lost our focus in and on the Lord. The result is our walls and hedges are down, protection and providence are crushed under the weight of gross sin. Therefore, evil, wickedness, lawlessness, injustice and apostasy of the highest order has come in and talking control. Once a nation that has been so blessed as America slams the door in the face of Yahweh God we are certainly facing a type of abandonment judgment – Romans 1.
Almighty God has given America a long time to turn around as He doesn't want any to perish but to date we are turning even father away from Him. Unless this nation repents and alters its course back to Him, we will face His severe wrath. It happened before to Gentile nations as well as ancient Israel and it will happen again- America will not be exempt.
