Bible Prophecy Commentary – Signs in the Heavens:

We know through scripture that the Lord God Almighty put the sun, moon and stars in the heavens to give us light and heat but also as signs of what may come and when Bible Prophecy events may start. Last year the first Blood Moon(BM) of this 2014-2015 tetrad was at Passover (April 2014), and ISIS came onto the world stage in the summer of 2014. The second BM of 2014 was at the Feast of Tabernacles in Sept. After that the stock market and world markets began slipping and sliding all over the place.

On March 20, 2015, eight days from now a total solar eclipse will take place which is on Nisan 1 which marks the beginning of the spring months and the beginning of the religious year for the Jews. Two weeks later the first BM of 2015 will be seen at the Feast of Passover. These BM's are occurring on the Lord's feast days in 2014 and 2015 – 4 BM's in a row – and are very likely according to past history signs of things coming to the nations of the world and to Israel and the Jews. What will happen is unknown. But I think some big events are just about ready to kick off – i.e. wars, conflicts, geopolitical events, etc. Israel's snap election will reveal the new Israel Prime Minister (Netanyahu or …?) on March 17. The US-Iran supposed nuclear deal will perhaps be signed on March 24. 

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come." -Joel 2:31 (KJV)

This world seems ripe for the judgment of God or the wrath of God – His judgment upon a sinful and unrepentant mankind. We know from scripture that the Day of the Lord will start His wrath and as some have said, this could be the start of the Tribulation or Daniel's Seventieth Week as described in Daniel chapter 9. Before the Day of the Lord occurs however, there must be a darkening of the sun and the moon turning into blood – Joel 2:31. We will have a sun that turns dark on Mar 20 and a moon that turns into blood on April 4. Could this signal the the Day of the Lord is about to take place sometime this year, say at the start of the next Sabbatical (or Shemitah) cycle? This we know begins on Tishri 1 or the Feast of Trumpets or also called Yom Teruah or Rosh Hashanah which begins in Sept 9th, 2015? This is also the date that a partial solar eclipse will also occur.

Folks, I think because of the signs we are seeing in the heavens, the extreme weather we have faced, are facing and will face are all indications that the heavens are being shaken. The Lord is showing us that things are about to take place on this planet and for those that sincerely know Him, read His word and seek Him daily, they will know that these are His signals to watch and be prepared. Are you ready? Do you seek Him and read His holy word daily? If not, why not? Watch the heavens! Don't be caught sleeping.
