Bible Prophecy Commentary – Lawlessness:
This is only the beginning! As the days draw nearer to the Lord’s return evil and wickedness will increase. The Red rider in Rev 6 will remove peace and wars and conflicts will result – and these will occur all over the globe. Not trying to be sensational here but realistic with the truth – God’s truth. As people’s hearts grow colder so their actions will grow even more hideous. In the Middle East the conflicts and killings continue. In Israel, the people have lived with this all their lives and it still goes on but seems now to be spreading.
With God being sidelined continually in America now the icy cold gripping the hearts of [radical] men and women is manifesting its ugly presence in riots and unrest. Look at what’s going on in Ferguson … this is not normal, this is pure evil with demons, veiled in the spiritual realm, infecting the hearts and minds of these rioters, activists and extremists. When you kick God out of your lives, then Satan and his minions walk right in and they carry a tremendous cache of spiritual weapons to kill, maim and destroy.
Friends, as you see these events happening and their impact worsening consider that scripture prophesies these in great detail – 2 Tim 3:1-5. Times will get worse and not better, in fact, we haven’t even reached the Tribulation timeframe yet. Those judgments will devastate all areas of mankind and this planet. Why? Why would a loving God punish us? Sin – sin and more sin! No sorrow, no repentance, no seeking Him. People chaste after everything else – lust, pleasure, greed, money, etc – but never turn to Almighty God. He even sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to tell us but they ended up killing Him. As a result of this He became the sacrificial Lamb that died for the sins of mankind; His blood paid the ultimate price for the forgiveness of our sins. But we must come to Him to receive this forgiveness then live a life following His words in obedience as written for us in the Bible. Where are you at today? Do you know Jesus Christ and have a relationship with Him? Are you walking in obedience to His word? Do you seek His face, asking for forgiveness of your sins and then amend your ways with a repentant heart? Remember, eternity is but a heartbeat away.
