Bible Prophecy Commentary – Rough Road Ahead This Winter?
“Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? ” -Job 38:22-23 (KJV)
It’s hard to escape the reality of extreme weather America and other parts of the world have faced just since 2012 and folks, it seems to be getting worse; this we can’t deny. But why? If you look at this Biblically in light of the gross sin that is running rampant throughout our land then perhaps God has something to say and His anger is increasing. We have ‘dissed’ Him at all levels and stiff-armed Him out of our lives. Can we expect anything but judgment? Read on…
The US has been a mightily blessed nation in such a short time. Stand back and examine how we have become such a great superpower in only about 250 years. Compare this to other nations of the world who have been in existence much, much longer. Why America? Because America was founded on the principles of God – God’s word, Godly values with Godly men at the helm. Now? Not so – chaos, confusion, scandals in government, rampant sexual immorality, homosexuality and same-sex marriages, turning our backs on Israel, playing with the things of God, yes, even in our churches. We are, in my opinion, reaping what we have sown and God’s hand my be coming down hard on us to get our attention – for us to turn back to Him.

In addition, this world is spinning into calamity and turmoil in many places. Even the land itself is reeling and mourning – , Hos 4:3; Jer 23:10; Jer 12:4; Rom 8:22. People are against people, nation against nation, wars, rumors of war, hate, crime, lawlessness, wickedness, sinkholes, larger earthquakes on the rise, volcanic activity increasing, Christian persecution off the charts and the list goes on. The road signs are up but who’s paying attention? Jesus Christ gave us the signs to watch for but who’s looking for them?
“He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?” -Psa 147:17 (KJV)
Where are you at today? What captures your mind? What do you pay attention to? Where is your focus? What consumes your thoughts? Is there any room for Almighty God and the saving grace, mercy and love of His Son Jesus Christ? If not, please get right with Him today for today is the day of salvation – 2 Cor 6:2 – Rom 10:9-10.
