Bible Prophecy Commentary – Russia and Natural Gas:
Has President Putin got the EU over a barrel? Are EU nations playing Russian roulette creating sanctions without regard to their people and the upcoming winter?
President Putin is a cunning foe and I believe he knows exactly what he is doing in regards to the Ukraine issue and with regard to the sanctions put on him by the US and EU. We are not dealing with an amateur; he is a seasoned ex-KGB officer and knows his business. Therefore, we must be cautious and aware of what he does. We must know our enemy/s. According to Bible Prophecy, his nation will play a huge part in the approaching Gog/Magog war that they will lead against Israel – Eze 38/39. Therefore, we must be at the watch for his every move.
But are we in the west blind to his intentions and strategy? What will be the result if gas is shut off or limited to EU nations during the cold season just around the corner? Has Putin got this in mind? Will he play his ace-in-the-hole card when up against the wall? In summer, people can survive but in the dead of a severe winter, with limited gas, perhaps not. Some sobering thoughts to think over.
