Behold, Today Is The Day of Salvation

Are You Saved?

“for He says, “At a favorable time I listened to you, And on a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is “a favorable time,” behold, now is “a day of salvation”—.” -2 Cor 6:2 (NASB)

You can go to church 2 or 3 times a week (perhaps more) and never hear what salvation (to be saved) means, who needs it, how to receive it but yet it’s critical, essential, and required for eternal life with God the Father and Jesus the Son.

We live in a time right now where the Lord is listening intently to those who sincerely want to be saved and seek His face through the instructions found in Scripture (e.g. Rom 10:9-10). He is ready for sinners who confess His name as Lord and repent of their sin but on the flip side, there will come a time where He will not strive with man anymore (Gen 6:3). The door is open now but will not always stay open for those that have rejected Jesus (e.g. Ten Virgins – Matt 25, King and Wedding Feast – Matt 22:1-14). There will come an end to this Age of Grace that we are living in now – Gen 6:3; Prov 1:24; John 9:4, so what will you do today? What will become of those that have rejected the King and/or continually mocked Him and rejected His free gift of eternal life? One word … HELL!

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” -John 8:24 (NKJV)

Friends, today is the day of salvation, not tomorrow for no one knows if they will even be alive in the morrow. Remember, sinners who mock and are indifferent to the Gospel fall under the indictments of Scripture and their end is in the Wrath of God – Rom 1:18. We cannot continue playing or pretending to be a Christian … you either know Him or you don’t! A litmus test to determine a real Christian … how often do you pray, seek His face, are grievous about your sin (Godly sorrow), repent of your sin, walk with God, read His word (daily)?

Please do not play with the things of God – saying you are a Christian but living a life of unconfessed sin. Today is the day of salvation for everyone. And that salvation gift comes ONLY through the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ – He must be your Savior and Lord.

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” -Acts 4:12 (ESV)

So I ask you … today if you would pass from this life, would you immediately be ushered into the arms of a loving God who you have claimed on earth as your Lord and Savior and be invited into His rest, or will you, living a life of rebellion, obstinately, and unrepentantly rejecting God’s message of salvation, be directed to the waiting room of hell like the rich man in Luke 16 was?

What say you to about these things today? Have you been saved by the Blood of the Lamb of God who took yours and mine penalty of sin and bore it in an agonizing death on the Cross? Folks, it’s time to seriously think of this. We live in a world of almost constant turmoil, upheaval, deception, lies, and twisted truths. America and the rest of the world are clearly seeing the signs of the last to the last days echoed in Bible Prophecy. Are you watching? Are you listening? What will you do if, in a twinkling of an eye, real Christians are removed by the rapture as defined in Scripture? (i.e. 1 Th 4:16-18; 1 Cor 15:51-52). The time to weigh these things and decide strongly on a course correction in your life is now.

The Evil in America is Off the Charts!

God Almighty Will Judge America Harshly!

“Then Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long are you going to struggle with the two choices? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him so much as a word.” -1 Kings 18:21 (NASB)

God Almighty will judge America more harshly than He did with Sodom and Gomorrah or ancient Babylon or Assyria, IMO. Just read the shear wickedness in the case Liberty Council is defending here.

It’s shameful and takes us back to the days of ancient Israel where the people sacrificed their babies to the Satanic god called Baal. Now the same thing is happening today, and for too long has been happening … in America!! How long do you think a righteous God will wait until His hammer drops on wickedness of this nature?

We didn’t learn through history, we didn’t see how God punishes this type of abomination, we didn’t pay attention to the sins that lead people to do this, and we will suffer the same, if not more, severe judgment from the hands of an angry God. It’s coming! The Bible outlines it so we better had drop to our knees and beg forgiveness and repent now!

You see America is increasing in abortion, homosexuality, pornography, sensuality, gambling, debauchery, unbelievable pride, without restraint greed, feminism, drugs, drunkenness, Satanic-driven music, unrestrained adultery, increasing witchcraft, mega idolatry, envy, strife to increase wealth, position, status and I could go on and on.

America has forgotten Almighty God in almost every area of life. And … the churches are not exempt and in many cases just as bad or worse!!

The writing is on the wall (Dan 5:4-6) for America and unless we repent and make a huge u-turn back to Almighty God, this nation will succumb to absolutely terrible woes.

Don’t take my word on this – read your Bible and find out how serious God has been and will be concerning sacrificing to other gods.

If your life has strayed away from the Lord, right now, drop to your knees or pray standing up but with intent being 100% serious to the Lord, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior then confess your sin and repent!

It may be too late for America now but not too late for individuals to seek and find God in their lives. Friends, this is of utmost importance right now. We are on the verge of nuclear war with Russia and if this happens, everything changes … for the worse! Don’t continue to keep your head in the sand, wake up and seek the Lord.

Amen!

What is the Fear of the Lord?

Lots of Controversy on What the Fear of the Lord Means…

“By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil.” -Prov 16:6 (ESV)

What does the Bible say about the fear of the Lord? Many say it only means the high degree of respect and reverence for the Lord and they are correct but that’s not all. Let’s have a look at how God’s word defines the fear of the Lord. Consider Prov 2…

“My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you, 2- Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding. 3- For if you cry out for insight, And raise your voice for understanding; 4- If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5- Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And discover the knowledge of God.” -Prov 2:1-5 (NASB)

Please read the text again and discover that to actually understand the fear of the Lord you must:

  1. Receive His words (in other words, read the Bible),
  2. Make our ears alert and attentive for His wisdom,
  3. Incline our hearts to understand,
  4. Cry out, in prayer, for insight or discernment,
  5. Raise our voices for understanding (speak out),
  6. Seek wisdom as you were searching for silver and hidden treasures  (rich value).

So through these 6 things we can understand just what the fear of the Lord is exactly and then discover the knowledge of God. We must receive His words (Holy Bible) and make it the core of our lives and the engine of our faith. When we do this we will grow in the wisdom of God and understand just what the wisdom of these words mean.

When we cry out for discernment or insight, we cry out in a passionate plea from the depths of our heart to know and understand what these words mean and how to experience them. When we desire and obtain this wisdom to know and fear God, we will value it above all other things.  Once these few verses become a part of our being, entwined in our hearts, mind, and soul then we will grasp the truth of the fear of the Lord.

Here are some other Scripture’s to help us discover that the fear of the Lord is:

– to hate evil – Prov 8:13

– the beginning of wisdom – Prov 9:10,

– the beginning of knowledge of God – Prov 1:7,

– the instruction of wisdom – Prov 15:33.

More verses that help us to understand the fear of the Lord and what it should mean in our lives…

Psalms 33:8 – Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Proverbs 14:27 – The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

Psalms 86:11 – Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Luke 1:50 – And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

Psalms 34:9 – O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Today’s churches teach the fear of the Lord means respect and reverence but as I said above that is not all as we have seen in all the verses above but it also carries another [terrifying] meaning that many of our so-called pastors or shepherds (some hirelings) of flocks, do not preach. And since the following are Jesus’ own words, we best take heed and ensure everyone knows the severity of the full meaning of this fear. Consider…

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” -Matt 10:28 (NKJV)

And…

“But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.” – Luke 12:5 (KJV).

As you can see the fear of the Lord means several things, a deep respect, a sincere search of His words and a crippling fear that should shake the very foundation of our souls! So in conclusion, please don’t solely listen and base your faith on those who man the pulpit that either don’t want to offend people and/or don’t know the Gospel and a shepherd’s desire to save their sheep from an eternity in hell. For you see and please remember …

“It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” – Heb 10:31 (NASB)
