Bible Prophecy Commentary: The Beasts are Dying –

The articles above are just a sampling of what is happening to animals throughout the world. But the big question is why? As you know or may not know this has been occurring for several years now but the mainstream news gives it no air time. The animal deaths are in the 10's of thousands and most of them stump the scientists. But why?

If you read and study the Bible and know about end time prophecies and the signs to watch for you will understand clearly that our Lord and Savior is sending us warning signs in nature. But who's listening? Who's watching? And who's teaching about this?

Almighty God speaks to us through nature and His message is clear for a sinful and rebellious mankind. Consider Hosea 4:1-4

"Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. 2- By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. 3- Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. 4- Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.." -Hosea 4:1-4 (KJV)

Please read this closely and examine what it is being said. The Lord has a case against the people in ancient Israel because thesr was no truth, mercy or knowledge of God in the land. They swore, lied, killed and stole. They committed sexual immorality – adultery and caused blood to run (most likely the meaning here could be by abortion). See any difference in our society today? So the Lord caused the land to mourn – earthquakes, sinkholes, cracks in the earth, volcanoes, storms, etc. And caused and is causing the beasts – fish, birds, land animals – to be taken away.

Does anyone consider that the Lord is causing these things to occur because we have rejected and rebelled against Him and His Son Jesus Christ?

Please, it's time to wake up and discover what is happening in the world. Middle East Christians slaughtered by the day, extreme weather all over, flooding all over, drought all over, volcanoes erupting like never before, weather is becoming very violent and unpredictable. And the world's financial situation is about to crumble. But why? Unrepentant sin. People and yes I'm talking about so-called Christians, aren't seeking the Lord much anymore. Our youth is falling away from the church in record numbers. People do not have the Lord on their minds these days and it is showing in the events transpiring around us.

Friend, are you awake and are you ready for the Lord's return? The signs He has given us in His word are occurring now with ever increasing convergence. Are you ready for the rough days ahead? Do you read your Bible every day? Do you get alone and talk with God daily? Is He on your mind throughout each and every day? If not, may I challenge you to reassess your Christian life and return to the Lord. If you don't know Him, now is the time to seek Him and call upon His name – Rom 10:9-10. Today is the day of salvation.
