Bible Prophecy Commentary: Deception –

Personally I don't trust Russia as far as I can throw them. They are master deceivers, very similar to Iran's deceptive ploys to pull the wool over the heads of Western nations which they have succeeded in totally. Russia wants something else in Syria and the Middle East – he wants oil and gas resources, their wealth and dominance on him/Russia.

Jesus Christ told us three times in Matt 24 that deception will come and when He says things multiple times, they are very significant and highly relevant. We are now living in an age of off-the-chart deception and to date many are deceiving and have been lied to and deceived. i.e. The US-Iran nuke deal. Russia, flatly, is up to no good and will take advantage of an extremely weak and soft US. You watch in the days ahead what Putin does over there in Syria. This is all leading up to the Gog/Magog war – Eze 38-39 – with all of Putin's moves calibrated for an end result. He will mow over any nation that interferes with his plan. Just keep watching and listening to what now goes on over there in the ME.
