Bible Prophecy Commentary – He is Coming Again, Believe it or Not!
For the mockers, scoffers and skeptics, the Lord God Almighty will return to this earth in the presence of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. When He returns however, the mockers, skeptics and those filled with unbelief (did I leave out the professing atheists) will be so far deluded they will reject Him even more that they do today -2 Th 2:11. They will be so far spiritually blinded that they will act in vehement rebellion. As each day goes by the Lord has His outstretched hand reaching for the lost not wanting any to perish (2 Pet 3:9) but to come to repentance. Yet many today are stiff-arming Him just the same. You see His patience will not last forever folks and those that reject Him today with each passing day their hearts will continue to grow increasing cold towards His grace, mercy and longsuffering.
I say all this to remind people that as the nations gather against Israel and she stands alone, His coming, according to scripture, is very near. Now we have to go through a few years before this time (seven year Tribulation) but nevertheless, know that His coming will be soon. As you can see the Middle East is already a tinderbox just waiting to ignite and many nations now are taking a stand against Israel. This is the time to be watching and waiting for the events that have been prophesied to come.
Are you ready? Are you saved? If so, do you read your Bible … daily? The Bible has never been wrong in its prophesies, it will not be wrong about His second coming and all the events leading up to that time. Are you ready?
