Bible Prophecy Commentary: Rev 2nd Seal – Peace Removed and Wars:
As the last days progress and more is revealed (Dan 12:4), we are told in Dan 7 that the four winds of heaven will stir up the nations. We without question today see this occurring all over the world especially in the Middle East. But why ISIS? Could it be perhaps that God is using this fierce and furious army to represent the ‘wild beasts’ that will ravage 1/4 of the earth’s population as one of the judgments from the Pale horse -Rev 6:7-8? It’s uncertain at this point but there has to be a reason why this menagerie of savages has formed so quickly and conquered so furiously.
Is another of their goals to remove peace from the earth? If so, they are doing a good job of this since several nations are feeling their wrath and threats. Even Russia has come under their threat veil. The UK has raised their threat level responding to their assessment of what ISIS may do. Folks, I believe this is serious and deserves our individual attention. These ruthless ISIS monsters have killed many people in their attempt to take over the world by forming an Islamic caliphate. They are fulfilling multiple end time prophecies as well – 2 Tim 3:1-5.
Some geopolitical landscapes are being altered. They are already changing land boundaries in Iraq and Syria and now Jordan and Israel is in their cross-hairs. They’re ambitious to say the least. We know that with the rise of the four beasts in Dan 7 the composite of nations in the Middle East will change but the question is when? I think we are seeing the beginning of this change and without question more changes are coming. Stay tuned …and remember to keep your eyes focused on the Lord God Almighty.
