Bible Prophecy Commentary – UN Against Israel:

Nothing new with this … they have seemingly for some time now been against Israel. Why? Because Israel represents the God of the Bible and the heathen nations of the world do not like this. How can anyone think that Israel doesn’t have a right to defend itself even against people that indiscriminately launch rockets destined to kill Israelis?

With Israel even warning Gazan’s to evacuate before they strike through dropped leaflets and phone calls, how can anyone charge them with wrongdoing or for that matter humanitarian war crimes? What about WW2 and the tens of thousands civilian causalities lost in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Was the US charged with war crimes? When you are in war bad things happen, it is a terrible time for all involved. Soldiers and civilians are lost to  the perils of war. But let’s also remember that Israel did not start this war. Hamas did and they are not backing down. In fact, they hide like children and cowards behind civilians: children and the elderly.

I am sure more outrage from the world community will occur as well as a rapid rise in anti-Semitism. But let’s also remember this is an end time prophecy coming into focus and we should pay close attention to all being said and done to Israel from the nations of the world. The UN seems to be leading the pack and make no mistake it will not be Israel’s interests they have in mind. However, Almighty God is in control and His plans will prevail.

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh … Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” -Luke 21:28, 36 (KJV)
