My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Russia, Iran and the US:

Russia, Iran and other nations will play a big part in the [near] future of the Middle East. The Gog/Magog war (Eze 38, 39) is in the wings and just waiting on the appointed time of the Lord to be fulfilled. In the meantime, these are but preparations for a horrible time yet to come. Israel is on center stage and many nations will come against her. Jehovah God will protect her and crush any nation that tries to divide their land or try and kick them out of their land: Joel 3:1-2, Amos 9:15. Is the US declining to become a non-player in the future conflicts? Time will tell.

“The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2- Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3- And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
