My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Earthquakes:
Normal or unusual? Increasing or status quo? In the last days, Jesus said there would be earthquakes in various places – Matt 24:7. Today, I have just listed a recent few quakes here in the US – please go to the USGS for more info. According to Bible Prophecy there are some ‘great’ earthquakes coming – Rev 6. How great? It is unknown at this time but they could be hugely significant, dangerous and disastrous. Read Rev 6:12-17. This, I believe, will be the time that the Day of the Lord starts, in other words, the day of the Wrath of God upon mankind in punishment for its gross unrepentant sin.
Make no mistake this time is coming; mankind has stiff-armed God, rejected and rebelled against Him and paid more or less no attention to their sin. A Holy and Righteous God cannot tolerate sin forever. He has been long suffering by His grace, mercy and love until His appointed time, not wanting any sinner to perish but to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Savior. Please, if you are not right with God today … get right – Rom 10:9-10. In the difficult days ahead (2 Tim 3:1-5) faith in Him will be your only strength, your only anchor, your only hope. No gloom and doom, just plain straight talk: Bible Prophecy in scripture.
