My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Middle East Wars:
Russia has been emboldened by their latest ‘deal’ with Syria and the US to allow the international community (whoever this will be) to be in control or have in their possession all of Assad’s CW’s. Now there are several ME wars yet to come all involving Israel – God’s land and God’s nation. One of these is the war prophesied about in Eze 38, where the prince of Gog [of Meshech and Tubal] is called out by God to have hooks put in its jaws to come against Israel. The prince of Gog is thought to be a demonic prince, much like the princes of Persia and Greece talked about in Daniel 10, that controls the land of ancient Meshech and Tubal and Magog or present day Russia and Turkey and may include Syria and Lebanon. The house of Togarmah will also be with them – this is Iran. Can anyone see this lining up now?
It’s very possible that the prince of Gog is starting to move in and through the land of Russia. Alliances will continue to build and Russia will play a prominent role and lead this huge alliance against Israel. Yet many things are still to happen through diplomacy linking the nations identified in Eze 38. As the days progress keep watch over the news and pay close attention to the region involving these nations as well as Israel. Watch who becomes weak and who becomes strong.
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
