How Often Do You Cry Holy, Holy, Holy?

“And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” 4- And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”” -Isa 6:3-5 (ESV)

We live in a fast paced world full of activities, travel, knowledge, social gatherings and events as well as distractions. I wonder how many of us Christians take time out to examine that we serve a Holy and Righteous Living God. One who is not dead and in the grave but one who is risen and alive.

We go to church and listen to the preacher and choir. We may even sing a few songs but again my question would be how often to we give God our all in all through sincere Bible-like worship? Examine the scripture above when Isaiah met the Lord. What did he hear … the heavenly host crying holy, holy, holy.  So wouldn’t this be an example for us to follow in our prayer and worship, especially in church? I think yes it would. After all, when you meet the Lord and [perhaps] make into eternity with Him, what do you think one of the things you’ll be doing? It won’t be going shopping or to the movies or to sports events or watching [the trash currently] TV. It will be centering around the holiness of Almighty God and that my friends will be awesome! I look forward to it with all my heart.

“And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.”

9- And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever,” -Rev 4:8-9 (NASB)

Just for a moment turn over to Rev 4 and read verses 8-9. This is what the Apostle John saw when he witnessed God’s Throne and the worship going on in heaven. Will it be any different for us when we get there? Nope, I don’t think so. So friends if we can’t do it here in sincere worship of the holiness of God, how will we do it there?

Professing and crying out before Him that He is a Holy and Righteous God is one of the parts of our worship while here in the body. It’s an integral part, one that cannot be ignored but, I digress, many of our so-called Christians churches fail to teach, preach and practice. Now it the time Christian friends to worship the Lord as He shows us in His word and with men that were the very righteous and religious men of their day. Let’s take from their example and practice crying holy to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach – His name in Hebrew).

Amen and Amen as we cry holy, holy, holy Lord!
