Bible Prophecy Commentary: More Dead Fish –
Fish and animals continue to die off at alarming rates, but why? Environment, global warming (ha!), other natural causes? Or could it be the Lord God Almighty telling us through nature to get right with Him. Even though man seems to be killing them (Pacific and elsewhere) via “toxic” events.
He states in scripture that due to “…for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.” (Hos 4:1). In the world today: truth is being plowed under with deception, lies, twisted truth, deceit and every other kind of attribute that overturns truth in God. And deception is growing while truth is becoming choked out of life. Additionally, mercy is diminishing and there is very little knowledge of the one true God – Jesus Christ the Lord God Almighty.
I suspect that most Christians are in name only and do not seek after God with all their hearts. Most read scripture rarely and then with no sought after understanding. Most churches are in it for the money, status, fame. Let me say this: if a church is growing rapidly examine what’s being taught there. Is it entertainment, comedy, a seeker church, one that caters to people more than God, does it have pastors who preach soft, non-engaging rhetoric, are there more programs than the real repentance and Godly sorrow? Are their any at any service that do more weeping for their sin than singing hymns or rocking with the music?
Christian churches are one of the main reasons our world, especially the US, is falling away from God. Faith on earth is rapidly decreasing in the Lord. Read Luke 18:8.
All this points to the soon return of the Lord. Folks, the time may be shorter than any of us thinks. Will you be ready to stand before the Lord of all creation?
