No Pretty Picture Ahead – Perilous, Difficult, Harsh Days Warning
America's got it made now since Trump will be the new leader of our land. The fix-it man, if you will. He will undo all the negative things that the previous several presidents have worked for and all will be well again with our land and nation right? Or have the global elites put this man exactly where they want him. And even more applicable, has Almighty God given us the man we deserve? You see most evangelicals are heads over heals that Trump will put the broken Humpty Dumpty America back together again. Really? Are they being deceived and falling into the trap that this 'man' will fix everything all by himself?
Not even a mention of God is his doings thus far. Really? A terrible precedent is being set and few see it. Why? People are not aware of what scripture teaches (what Jesus taught) about what will happen before He returns. Christians are not attune to what their own Bibles say, you know … what God says. So what does the Bible say about rich men and their possible position in God's kingdom: "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." -Matt 19:24 (KJV).
In churches these days you hear pretty much flowery, love-centered, prosperity, and sin-less preaching. Most churches preach cozy, comfortable, easy-to-digest, non-impacting messages every time they meet. They preach the "low hanging" fruit of God's word. Most will not level with you and are leading many down the path to Godless living. Yes, it's true! They do not preach about your sin, it's consequences, they say little if anything on repentance and almost nothing on living a holy life without which no one will see God – Heb 12:14. And they speak even less on what's happening now and what's up ahead on the world stage according to Bible Prophecy.
The Days Ahead Will Not Be Pretty!
The days ahead will be filled with deception, lies and deceit. It already happening; look at this past election for starters. But this preacher will not with hold the truth from you. God's word says that in the last days there will be terrible, harsh, and difficult times (2 Tim 3:1-5). In Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 17 and 21, the Lord God, Jesus Christ our Lord says there will be no revival or a huge happy fests. In fact, the total opposite – Jer 6:14. We are headed for the days prior to the Tribulation – Daniel's Seventieth Week – the seven years leading up to the Lord's return and these days will not be painted with butterflies, daises, roses and revivals. They will be horrendous and filled with death and destruction and every evil way. Why? Because people refuse to face their sin and repent, amending their ways and returning to God. The self-made tele-evangelists and YouTube preachers that say there will be huge revivals are not telling you the truth for scripture teaches the exact opposite – Jer 5:11-13. "The prophets are but wind…".
You see, people today just like the people in ancient Israel. They don't want God in their lives. They don't fear Him nor do they tremble at His word – Jer 5:22 -(self exam – how about you? Do you fear Him and tremble at His word?). Most people don't read their Bibles – it's takes too much time, it's too much trouble, the Word of God is too offensive to them – Jer 6:10
"An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land: 31- the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule at their direction; my people love to have it so, but what will you do when the end comes?" -Jer 5:30-31 (ESV)
Our Christian churches don't teach these things and our nicely paid pastors are guilty of peddling half-truths to their sheep. They will pay a hefty price when they stand before the Lord – James 3:1. For their sheep (that's us) are sickly, unprepared, weak and focus on worldly men, things and stuff. These "false prophets" have become complacent and do not preach the full council of God. But the people love to hear the inspiring love-only, kind and merciful messages because it makes them feel good. The Apostle Paul wrote 13 of the New Testament books, was sent directly from God to preach to the Gentiles and was very close to the living God and he taught the full council of the word of God – Acts 20:27. But look what he has to say in Acts 27:26 – pastors, elders, priests, what do you think he means here? Where do you stand? (Try looking over at Eze 3:18; 33:6; 33:9)
The tough times are coming and in fact are starting now. The thought that this next president (Mr. Trump) will fix all the wrongs, straighten all the crooked roads, the twisted out of shape things is ludicrous. Why? Without God in our land and at the helm, we are finished. God will not strive with us forever – Gen 6:3. But who understands this? Who is taught this? (Even now Trump is flopping on the AFA-Obamacare, saying some parts will be saved and others removed. So already he has changed his mind on this).
So now many are getting on the Trump-wagon thinking he will restore America. One man without even the mention of God on his lips will not make this nation great again. Only God can do this and it must start at the top of our nation. The best thing that our new President can do is lead this nation back to God and His precepts, laws and statutes. Bring us back to the likes of George Washington and the men that with God at the lead, made this nation great to begin with.
Our Hope in Christ – Read Your Bible!
You had better get your Bible out and start studying like crazy to know the truth of God's warning to us in these last days before His return. Do not trust the wordsmithed, fancy-tongued, pretty-robed preachers in our modern pulpits unless they are teaching you about the grace and mercy of God but also equally on the judgments of God. About your sin and about how you must repent and sincerely acknowledge Him as your Lord and seek His face – Rom 10:9-13. This is no joke, this is just not another Hollywood movie or fictional book – there are some horrific times coming to this earth and people of America, you will not be exempt!
Our Hope, our Faith, our Trust can only be built on the Lord Jesus Christ. But … He has some requirements for us as well. It's not just a free ride; a punch-card pass that will get you into heaven. You must acknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior, that God raised Him from the dead and believe in your heart He is Lord. (Inviting Him into your hearts as some teach, does nothing and it's unscriptural). Scripture says clearly you must repent of your sin, turn away from the worldly lifestyle and idols and turn to Him. Take a few moments and read Jer 5-7, then turn over to Eze 14 and read it. Please read these, this is our God, this is what He looks at and what He will do to the nations that continuously do these things. He will do what He has done before – Ecc 1:9. Think that's bad, try reading 2 Th 1:8-9 and see how He's coming for those that play with the things of God nor obey His word. Our God is no pushover, He's not our "bud" nor a member of our posse. He's also not a cosmic grandfather that approves or condones of the sinful things we do.
Please above all things you can and will do today, turn from the world and to God! Confess and repent of your sin; you don't need a priest or confessional to do this. The veil of the Temple was torn in two (Matt 27:51) so we could have direct access to the Lord to confess our iniquities and seek repentance at any time. Do not follow the major religious false teachings of fallible men!
Give yourself to the Lord – 100%. He wants your absolute undivided commitment with no turning back to the world – Luke 9:62. Your only anchor of truth is in the Lord and His word. These days you must focus on shoring up and bolstering your faith. You must have your faith grounded in Him to get through the days now and what's ahead. I will not hide the truth that the days ahead will be filled with difficulty. War, famine, pestilences and death will increase until the Lord returns. So seek the Lord while He may be found. Do not get wrapped up in the cares and concerns of this life – Luke 21:34. Tell others about what you learn about the Lord, share your faith with your friends and family. Warn them of what's to come. Some will hear others will not! For most of my immediate and extended family members want little to do with what I've spoken here today. This is truly sad. Many will painstaking plan for vacations, and other events but think and plan little for what the Bible says will happen in these before-the-Lord returns last days.
Who or what is your hope in today? A mear man like this new answer man called Mr. Trump or Almighty God? And where will you spend eternity? Are you saved this day?
"Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:" -Heb 12:25-26 (KJV)
