Bible Prophecy Commentary: Wars, No Peace, Sabre-rattling – What's Next?
This is not good! First, it's Russia and the US and now it's the US and China. What is going on here? Are these the first echoes of war drums?
It's pertinent to know that Bible Prophecy predicts many wars up to and including a major war/s according to Rev 6:3-4. It seems that the US is not making many friends among the major and most powerful nations of the world these days. Russia is up against NATO in the Baltic region – on their western border – with a plethora of war machinery. The US is also heavily involved there as well. Tensions are very high.
Now the sparing continues in the South China Sea (SCS). These nations – China and Russia – aren't playing around and could retaliate on the US "bullying" with tremendous force.
Folks, this world is experiencing very dangerous and perilous times and they will worsen. (Do not fall prey to the deception that this tension-filled world is now the new normal … it is not.) Very powerful nations are sabre-rattling like never before as one "tests and probes" the shallownesses, weaknesses, resolve and vulnerabilities of the other. Please keep watch on the world situations – nations, people, nature – extreme natural events, and the sky or the heavens.
The Lord commanded us to keep watch and not be weighed down by the cares of the world. We are to keep alert – be watchful – and to pray at all times.
Are you keeping abreast of the things occurring around the globe? Are you attentive to His word? Do you even read your Bible? How about your prayer life? Do you pray many times per day? Bottom-line: are you right with Almighty God today?
