Bible Prophecy Commentary: Sexual Immorality is Another Death Knoll for America –
Our American society is replete with advanced and expanding technology and this high tech environment can be good and bad. In this case (read above articles) hideously bad. And the youth are easy prey for the porn industry and as such America leads the pack worldwide into this devastating abuse of sexuality.
It boils down to sexual immorality and America has become a second Sodom and Gomorrah. We have not approached the state of open city streets pocketed with rooms of open sexual promiscuity but have somewhat advanced our sin. Now Americans (and other nations) sit behind computer screens in closed door dark rooms and engage that way. This is gross sin in the eyes of Almighty God. Our nation is steeped deep into this sinful and immoral industry and now it has spawned a state to pass a resolution calling it a "public health" crisis. This is abominable and indicative of the spiritual state of our nation. Sin cannot be just swept away. It has consequences. In this case, this sin will destroy your mind and lead you along a secret path of despair. Additionally you are opening the door to more advanced evil to penetrate your heart. Consider, what God's word says:
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." -1 John 2:16 (KJV)
Lust will undermine everything you do. You, in most cases, will live this secretly and your mind will be swayed into dirty and filthy things that lust brings. It's a trick and trap of the Devil to twist and take your mind into realms of fantasy and despair. His "trick and treat" is to destroy you any way he can. Porn is easy to get and easy to hide. Hence it's an easy hole to fall into and many have even Christian men and women. Pastors and priests. Leaders of the church and yes leaders of our nation. "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." – Matt 5:28 (KJV). Just remember, this highly offensive to God
Folks, if you are caught in this sin get out fast! Now, today! Your soul is at stake and your future eternal destination. Every day you linger in this arena of sin your heart grows harder and harder to the truth of just how destructive porn is. Consider what God's word says again…
"I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness" -Rom 6:19 (KJV)
Porn, sexual immorality and rejection of Almighty God is destroying this once great land. America is under spiritual attack like never before and our youth are not exempt. They are the future and the enemy will take out as many as he can. 1 Pet 5:8
Seek God, seek His face. Pray and ask for forgiveness of your sins. Then repent and turn away from the sins that you haul around like baggage. Know the truth and be set free in the name of Jesus Christ.
