Bible Prophecy Commentary: Deception and Delusion in America –
Almost all news outlets this morning are sounding the election results of yesterday. And that's about all you see on the frontpage even though the rest of the world is coming apart. America has reached a kind of "madness" point in Presidential debates, rallies, riots, polls, primaries, etc concerning who will win the parties nomination.
One slams another, another intimidates others, there's name-calling and joking and personal stabs, etc. Did you ever see or hear of such things in a Presidential election? There's an insanity about all this and the saddest thing of all is that the majority of the candidates have left Almighty God out of the whole thing. Oh His name might be heard rarely here and there but who is seeking Him for guidance and wisdom on who should be the next "king" here in America? Hos 8:4.
We have left God out of our public places, our government agencies, our education institutions, our churches and our lives. So friends, our next President could be another unGodly person that governs our land and things will continue to get worse. Big talk fills out airwaves today, many promises but without Almighty God in our midst we will continue to get weaker and sickly and infected with all kinds of ugly sin.

Our only hope is putting God – His Son Jesus Christ – first and foremost in everything we say, do and think and never leave Him out of our public, personal, national and governmental lives. There is no other course for mankind!
Amidst all these things idolatry is growing by leaps and bounds. People care more about this upcoming election than almost anything else. This has become a sort of god distracting and deceiving people away from the real matters that are affecting America and the rest of the world. i.e. Wars, Middle East troubles, Christian persecution, Immigrant invasions, America's open borders, NATO and Russia troubles, South Pacific rising tensions: US and China, the NKorea and SKorea tensions, threats from Iran and NKorea to take out America, nuclear alert levels raised: China and NKorea, ballistic missile tests, the global economic situation and most significant is the Christian church in America. It's asleep and dying. It fails to speak out on most domestic and international issues. It's like they are hiding in fear the people will be offended and take their money elsewhere.
The church should be sounding the trumpet on these issues and preparing the people. The planet is becoming highly volatile across all realms and the spiritual warfare ensuing is tremendous. But who hears these things?
Wake up pastors and priests and start preparing your people for what's ahead. Teach and preach from the Book of Revelation; do not delay. Many will be lost because our "shepherds" have not warned them. Read just a few verses from Jeremiah and Isaiah below on the prophets, priests and people of ancient Israel realizing these same conditions and judgments from God could fall on our land and to the "pastors and priests" of our day.
"For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right. For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the Lord. Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the Lord. And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err." -Jer 23:10-13 (KJV)
"That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us." -Isa 30:9-11 (KJV)
