Bible Prophecy Commentary: Birth Pains in Nature Continue –
We are just 6 weeks into the new year – 2016 and records are being broken. Is the Lord God Almighty trying to send us warnings to return to Him? He has used the weather many times in the past to get peoples attention. Could He being doing the same now? And what would spring or summer bring?
Things are getting very tumultuous all over the world. Weather seems likes its gone crazy. Consider Amos 3:6-7 and Job 37:9-16 to see for yourself if the Lord is warning us through extreme weather to repent and turn back to Him. The Bible says we are in store for some nasty and perilous times ahead because of the sinful and unrepentant nature of mankind. God is a gentleman and is giving us much time to repent and seek Him – 2 Pet 3:9. But there is coming a time when His fury, anger and wrath will be unleashed and then folks, all hell will hit this earth.
So where are you at today? Are you saved? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ? Have you a personal relationship with Him? Will you escape the things to come to stand before the Son of Man?
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh … Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." -Luke 21:28, 36 (KJV)
