Bible Prophecy Commentary – WARNING: Major Warfare is Coming:
While America sleeps our enemies prepare!
You know the Bible prophesy's a major war in the last days and that could come very, very soon considering how rapidly end time events are falling into place. The second Seal – Red horse and the fourth Seal – Pale horse reveals that even before the Tribulation starts major, terrific and terrible wars will come to this planet – Rev 6. These can be both physical and cyber. These days warfare has advanced and know no bounds. As we've seen this past week – three major America institutions were impacted – transportation (United Airlines), financial (NYSE) and news communications (WSJ) by something at almost the same time. We don't know for sure if it was a cyber barrage or what. So the big question that begs to be answered … why is the US decreasing its ability to fight, to defend, to wage war, to win by downsizing yet again? We have more or less hung our military out to dry and our enemies can see it plainly. They are laughing at our feeble rhetoric. They are hissing at us, if you will; this an Old Testament term for a nation's scorn -Jer 19:8, 25:19; Isa 5:26. To even consider the most powerful superpower the world has ever seen – the US – be reduced to a rustic hulk of what it used to be is disheartening and sickening. But, without Almighty God on our side we will lose every conflict – verbal, cyber or physical.
Russia has been preparing while America sleeps. China has been ramping up their entire military machine will America slumbers. The politicians are weakening our resolve and effectiveness. Our leaders are drowning us in political correctness and internal bickering and all this while our enemies sneak in under our watch and prepare to do us harm. Are you watching friends?
Whenever destruction came to ancient Israel and Judah/Jerusalem it came from the north – Jer 1:14; 6:22-23; 50:3. Russia is preparing in the Arctic, to the north; they have reopened dormant bases and have performed war games – military drills. Why and to what end? They are getting ready for the inevitable. When ancient Judah became so evil and wicked and they rejected God time and time again (see any difference here in America?), God used heathen/pagan nations to bring judgment against them. Could He be planning to do the same – using the Russians, Chinese and even N. Korea – to bring His judgment to America? These things are worthwhile to consider especially if you are read in the Old Testament. The OT was given to us to help us to understand and know God – Jer 9:24. But who is reading and preaching it these days? Not many, certainly our Christian pulpits are deathly silent on the matter.
Are you preparing in your heart, mind and soul? Do you know and follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Are you saved? Please get right with God today as no one knows when exactly God's judgment on this rebellious and wicked humanity will drop. Amen
