Bible Prophecy Commentary – Russia vs the West:
I don't think the West is getting it. It seems that Russia will not back down under any circumstances in its determination to get its hands on, at least, Eastern Ukraine and most likely more. Now the word "war" comes out and is slung on the table. A war with Russia could be extremely bad for all the parties that become involved – Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France, UK, US and others. As I've stated before Russia is a formidable foe and capable of who knows what to who knows what extent.
The World in Turmoil – It's Like Something is About to Happen … But What?
The triggers for WWI and WWII were a bit more benign than what we are seeing today with the actual fighting and killing and diplomatic sanctions affecting nations economy's. That's a key aspect in knowing when a 'global' war could kick off by Russia (and it allies) against the West – primarily and most likely focused on the US. Crippling sanctions and plunging oil prices are causing economic havoc in Russia and this author believes something could happen bringing Russia's nationalism and Putin's military machine to bear. What and when – who knows but one thing is sure – tensions are increasing and all diplomatic efforts by Germany and France have produced no fruit. It should be clear now that Putin will not backdown without a fight. And this fight could be directed against Obama; there's a heavy tension there – mixed with lots of pride. And besides, Putin has an agenda not easily understood. Not withstanding in this strife there are tremendous spiritual forces at work between and in the nations of the world these days. Evil and wicked spiritual princes in high places are charting the courses of leaders (Dan 10) to eventually war as outlined and prophesied in Rev 6 – Red, Black and Pale horses. Seals that release awesome and terrible judgments upon mankind. These spiritual forces are directing the terrible end time calamities could be just ahead and I mean just ahead. But rest assured Almighty God is in absolute control and nothing will happen unless He sanctions it. The world is on the verge of unprecedented suffering because mankind has stiff-armed Almighty God; nations and peoples driving Him out of their lives.
Additionally, we have two Blood Moons yet to come this year and two solar eclipses. The next total solar eclipses is Mar 20, 2015. What does this mean and what could it signal? Unknown at this time but the two this year land on specific meaningful dates on the Jewish calendar – Mar 20 = Nisan 1 or the beginning of the religious festival cycle and Feast of Trumpets – Sept 13, 2015, a very prophetic time for the Jews. Keep your eyes and ears wide open, pay attention to what's occurring around you and stay immersed in God's word. His return is near.
