Bible Prophecy Commentary – Peace Removed, Violence Rises:
Whether they know it or not Radical Islam is fulfilling Bible Prophecy, specifically they are adding to the prophecy that lawlessness would abound in the last days. And we see this more and more these days. A religion of peace is proving there is little peace but lots of killing. i.e. ISIS, Islamic terrorists, etc. When the Revelator John saw the second seal removed (Rev 6:3-4) from the scroll he saw a red horse and power was given to the one that sat thereon to remove peace from the world and that men would kill one another. Is there any question this hasn't happened in the past through World Wars, etc and is happening again only through a much stronger societal breakdown? All over men are killing one another and these Islamic Radicals are making it much, much worse. Friends, the powers of darkness in the unseen world are attacking society all around us but many don't see this or refuse to recognize it. The OT prophet Daniel gives us a glimpse of this realm in Dan 10:10-21. Please take a few moments to read just what this unseen world is like.
Globally, it seems, society is breaking down at a rapid pace and turmoil is replacing the peace. Again, this is everywhere especially anywhere there are radical Islam terrorists – the Middle East, Europe, Africa and slowly making their way onto US soil. Folks, this is serious! We cannot let our guard down or take anything for granted anymore. As nations stiff-arm Almighty God out of their midst evil rushes in and one of the weapons Satan is using against the peaceful and innocent is radical Islam.
What can we do as a people and nation? First, turn back to Almighty God through confession of our sin and through sincere (sincere) repentance -2 Chron 7:14. Few churches preach on this but let that not stop you from doing it. Keep watch!
