Bible Prophecy Commentary – Iran:
Most likely unaware, the barbaric, wolf-like and wicked Iran Supreme Leader (SL) is being driven by the “Prince of Elam or Persia” and this is not a man. This is a huge strong demonic force or stronghold that makes this man speak the way he does. He is but a puppet in the hands of evil never imagined just beyond the veil of human perception and sight. His threats against Israel especially just of late are dictated from the Pits of Hell.
The SL thinks that by their veiled deceitful efforts to blind the P5+1 nations into agreeing to a nuclear deal they can sway the west into thinking they are moderate and only have peaceful nuclear objectives, is a plain flat-out lie. This Islamic nation is run by tyrants – evil and wicked men – that seek destruction and killing of their enemies. They have no interest in peace with the US or Israel or many others for that matter. Their interests are terror and killing.
What’s interesting is that the lies emanating from the lips of the SL are actually one step closer to fulfilling Bible Prophecy. How? In Jer 49:34-39 we read how the ancient nation of Elam (modern Iran) will suffer immensely in the days ahead. Their military might will be crushed and their people dispersed all over the world. This Elam or Iran will be dismayed before their enemies as the Lord will bring His fierce anger upon them sending ‘war machines’ (sword) upon them. Iran can expect a tremendous thrashing from the Lord that will tear apart it’s military might and muscle. Their resolve to destroy Israel will be curtailed.
Supplemental: Make no mistake the Devil is roaming about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet 5:8). Israel and the Jews are God’s chosen land and people and have been and are hated by most of the world because they are God’s. Christians are also targeted by Satan’s fiery darts and he will try and deceive as many as he can. He is the father of lies (John 8:44) and seeks only to steal, kill and destroy – John 10:10. Be on your guard – alert and steadfast in the Lord!
“The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35- Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. 36- And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. 37- For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: 38- And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.” -Jer 49:34-38 (KJV)
