Bible Prophecy Commentary – Ebola Virus:
If you haven’t been keeping up with the news on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, well, it’s bad and getting worse! This could really get [globally] bad if the virus mutates and goes airborne. It’s very possible that nations outside of West Africa underestimate the seriousness of Ebola’s potential. In Africa it has killed over 2300 people and more are being infected as this article is composed. Even the health care workers are getting it, some without ever coming in contact with the bodily fluids from an infected person.
The CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control) has even said that Ebola is “spiraling out of control“. What will this mean globally? Now, the US is sending up to 3000 military to help curb the virus. We pray and hope this helps for this is a terrible virus.
For weeks now we have seen a mysterious respiratory virus (Enterovirus D68) popping up now in 20 US states affecting young children mainly with fever which spreads through coughing or sneezing; in other words, it’s airborne. What’s this a sign of, if anything? Of more sicknesses coming?
In the Book of Revelation, chapter 6, verses 7-8, (Rev 6:7-8) the Pale horse rider and his follower bring death to this planet killing up to one-quarter of the earth’s population: “And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword (war), and with hunger (famine), and with death (pestilences, plague, diseases, and sicknesses), and with the beasts of the earth (men)” (emphasis and added mine). Is this Ebola outbreak one of the payloads of the Pale rider? If it is, nothing will stop it for it is prophesied to come.
Please read God’s word and be prepared in your heart, mind and soul. This is a time to be aware of what will transpire in the days leading up to Christ’s return. Yes, they will be bad but our hope is in Him. You see sin and rebellion against Almighty God has caused these judgments upon mankind down through the ages. Even though God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, who He sent to provide reconciliation through His death on the cross, people have still rejected Him. He paid the penalty for our sin but we must confess and acknowledge Him as our Lord and Savior. God sent His only begotten Son because He loves us so much. This must be understood. Please believe in Him, confess Him and receive forgiveness for your sins and eternal life through repentance today.
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
