Bible Prophecy Commentary – Days of Noah and Lot:
All seems outwardly rather normal … right? Or are there sign posts indicating that God's judgments are just about to be poured out?
Jesus said that some of the signs leading to His second coming would be similar as in the days of Noah and Lot. These were days filled with extreme wickedness, fornication, sexual immorality, inhospitably and the evil list goes on – Gen 6:11-12. Certainly now in America we can see evidence of these things clearly all across our land. American churches instead of being a bright shining light of Christian morals and Biblical standards, have become dark, self-righteous, corrupted, filled with humanistic views and almost void of teaching the real Gospel of Jesus Christ – salvation, sin, repentance and Godly sorrow. So, in effect, America has few people left that proclaim the true Gospel and live it. Godly institutions and leaders who once stood on the premises of Godliness and holiness have all but vanished into a thin veneer of religion void of Holy virtue. How do you compare with the verses found in Heb 3:7-19? And what about Heb 12:14?
So where does this leave us …? Right slap-dab in the days of Noah and Lot as described in Luke 17:28-36. Wake up everyone, the Lord is coming and not as your 'buddy' or 'homey' nor will He give you a 'high-five' either!
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh … Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." -Luke 21:28-36 (KJV)
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.

DAYS OF NOAH AND LOT
“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
