My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Russia and Iran … and America:

Russia and Iran will draw closer together as allies these last days progress. Bible Prophecy confirms their relationship as written in Eze 38, 39.  Together, in the Gog/Magog war, they will come against Israel. I think the clock is ticking towards this goal right now. Russia, IMO, has stepped out into the world scene with power, authority and determination. The leaders of Russia and Iran smell the weakness displayed by the US and other Western nations most recently in the Syria CW issue. Add to this the current confusion and chaos plaguing national US leadership; debates, deceptions, controversies – it’s a pure mess! America’s sin is overwhelming its once true greatness and superiority. Is it no wonder that America may be one of the nations (merchants of Tarshish) that [only] ‘complains’ to the Gog/Magog alliance when they attempt to come against Israel – Eze 38:13

I think that America will succumb to its internal strife and weaken even more in the days ahead. Why? It has shunned God’s truth both in the government arena and even in most evangelical circles and churches.  The moral fabric of America is being torn apart by turning its back on Almighty God. How? No Fear of God in this land. Little Knowledge of God and most living unholy lives in unrepentant sin.
