My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Evil is Advancing in America:
America modern media carries a neatly packaged [and veiled] message of advancing evil called witchcraft. We see it starkly portrayed in most TV shows watched across this nation. Have the ‘Christians’ turned their sets off? Probably not. You see, if you watch this kind of evil, you condone it. You are buying into the message and into their doctrine. If you are a professing Christian, why else would you continue to fill your mind (and temple of the Lord – 1 Cor 6:19-20) with such things that are rebellious against the Living and Almighty God? If Jesus were sitting next to you while you were watching some the this trash, what would He say? What would you answer?
How can Christianity take a back seat to this…? According to Pew Research approx 80% of the US claims to be Christian. Really? Why is wickedness, corruption and evil advancing like never before? Why is church attendance on the decline … Less than 20% of Americans attend church on a regular basis – report here. And Pew Research’s study here. But yet 80% claim they are Christian. There is something wrong with this picture. The problem is that the church and God are becoming disassociated; people are not understanding God for who He is and/or taking His word (the Bible) seriously.
The Devil is a cunning foe, perfecting his abilities in deceit, lies and deception for over 6000 years. Unless you turn aside from evil and turn to God, you will be a target for Satan’s fiery darts. Wake up America – get in your Bibles, take a stand against evil through prayer, reading His word, fasting (if you can) and then more prayer.
