My Bible Prophecy Commentary – The Mark of the Beast Technology?
During the second half of Daniel’s Seventieth Week, the Antichrist’s Mark of the Beast (MoB) will be used to mark individuals that give allegiance to the A/C. This MoB will be required for anyone wanting to buy food, work, bank, etc. So what will it look like and how will it function?
I’ve often wondered how this MoB will be deployed in this highly technical age. A physical mark on the skin could potentially be removed. A microchip – too easy to remove. A tattoo the same. An electronic mark could be jammed. IMO, a mark would need to be applied that would change something in your body that could never be changed again, since once you take this mark you cannot give it back or change your mind. So, a person’s DNA comes to mind and this article (links above) gives some evidence that a synthetic DNA mark is a possibility. This ‘unique DNA code’ could be a prelude to the actual method used, and so is worth mentioning here. Moreover, I believe that this MoB could be a [modified] DNA strand or code in perhaps the form of a pill, injection or dissolving insert that could be inserted or ingested, do its work but yet never be removed. Think about it … if you are here when this occurs (and it will occur) you DO NOT want to take this mark!!
