Bible Prophecy Commentary – Eternity is but one heart beat away:
Wars and rumors of war – Matt 24:6-7. The atrocities going on in Syria for over 2 years now are horrendous and hideous. The use of chemical weapons is above all cowardly and the world should rise up against this and put a stop to it. The nations that continue to side with Syria, if indeed chemical weapons were used, are just as guilty as the ones who pressed the triggers releasing these weapons.
The attack of course is tragic but the lost of human life is worse! These 1300 or whatever the number entered eternity – their bodies remain but where does their soul end up? There are only two options according to the Bible – heaven or hell and they are literal physical places. Where will your soul go when you step into eternity? Consider this well and as you are considering pull out your Bibles and read Acts 16:30b – then turn over to Rom 19:9-10 – these are Jesus' instructions for 'reserving your ticket' to heaven. He died for your sin and mine, He forgives sin as we confess them to Him. Give Christ a chance in your life today.
Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
