Are You Looking Up? Is Your Redemption Drawing Near?

Are You Awake, Alert and Watching?

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” -Luke 21:28 (KJV)

There are so many signs and events happening right now as forecast by the Bible for the very last days, before the Lord returns for His Bride – the real Christians – that they are hard to miss. In fact, one could say that if you claim to be a Christian and you miss seeing what the Bible clearly states as signs before His arrival, then are you really ready to meet the Lord?

For example, in Matt 24, the Lord says that when you see the fig tree blossom, then He is right at the door. The fig tree is Israel and it blossomed in 1948 when it became an official (world recognized) nation.

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33- so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.” – Matt 24:32-33 (NASB)

Did you read it – “He is near, right at the door.”

Another can be found in Luke 21… Take a moment to read this chapter… Then focus in on verse 28-

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” -Luke 21:28 (KJV)

The bottom line in our faith for the days in which we live is – are we expecting His return? Are we anxiously awaiting it? Are we excited about being with Jesus for eternity? Do we talk about it to our families and friends? Are we looking up?

Friends, please if you are too connected into the world and its “stuff”, and can’t see what’s going on, then can I suggest that it’s time to get alone with Jesus and get right with Him yes, even if you’ve drifted in your faith. Put Him as the first thing you think about when you get up and the last thing you think about before you fall asleep at night. Please consider these things as the enemy of our souls is after us, and to get us distracted 24×7, well, then he’s got you, trapped in his web of deceit, deception, lies and corruption.

Consider all these things and know the Lord.

“Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:” -Heb 12:25-26 (KJV)
