Bible Prophecy Commentary – Troubling and Uncertain Times:

Friends,

This caught my eye the other day … an interesting parallel for these times …? But please read Exodus 12 and 13 so you can understand what this may be about and when it occurred.

Note this paragraph in the above referenced article with link from Jonathan Feldstein:

“It’s ironic that on the eve of Passover, we are more or less stuck in our houses, not unlike the situation in which we found ourselves waiting out the isolation of another deadly, biblical plague thousands of years ago. Then, we had the protective covering of shmearing some blood on our doorposts. Let’s pray that with this holiday of national liberation, this season we will see a similar protection, reversal of, and redemption from the plague of darkness and death in which we all find ourselves.” (Source)

Have we claimed the Blood of the Lamb – Jesus Christ – over our homes and family. Have we applied it symbolically? My wife and I have through prayer together (“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.”-Matt 18:19 (ESV)).

Some thoughts on the past and on the Scriptures for the last days: The Destroyer showed no mercy to those (the first born) who did not have the Blood of the Lamb covering them at the time of the Passover in Egypt. Key point – the Blood of the Lamb. Jesus was the Lamb of God that paid the ultimate penalty for or sin through His shed blood on the cross. Could this be a parallel of those times, but now referring to the Blood of the Lamb in and over our lives through the profession and belief that Jesus Christ is the Lamb that was slain and only through Him is salivation to be found? Please consider this.

The world is being plagued by a nasty pestilence with no way to stop it’s attack on mankind. We know that in the last of the last days, pestilences will come but I believe we can pray and seek the Lord sincerely and He could relent of the judgment infecting and killing several people.

As a Christian, a follower of Christ, born again and bought by the precious Blood of the Lamb of God. Where do you stand on this today?

This virus – pestilence – is striking all of mankind, not just a single country. Let’s face the inevitable for it’s this author’s firm belief this is from the Lord God Almighty. Time to pay attention!! Yet we have not returned to Him but instead provoked His anger by poking Him in the eye with our gross and unrepentant sin. And let’s not forget what is written in Isaiah…

“For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness..” -Isa 26:9b (ESV)

Note the parallel and remember Ecc 1:9. Also observe Amos 4:10a. And if nations don’t return to the Lord, could Amos 4:10b be on deck for those that don’t? We as Followers of Jesus, need to pay attention, read and study God’s Word.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. ”  -Luke 21:25-26 (KJV)

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” -Luke 21:11 (KJV)
