God Speaks Through His Creation to His Creation
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9- For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” -ISA 55:8-9 (KJV)
The world is really messed up – chaotic, confused, deluded and deceived in almost every area of life. The depravity of mankind is very apparent and seemingly gets worse by the day. In every nation and every people. False religions abound, false prophets are everywhere and Christianity has become comfortable and twisted across the planet but in America it’s worse than worse. People including Christians have forgotten Almighty God, even in churches. For they love their soothing sermons, their mega churches, their sinless messages, and the majority don’t know the God of the Bible for they don’t read their Bibles.
All this said, immorality, depravity, lust, greed, idolatry, arrogance are spreading like wildfire throughout the world but more so here in the once Godly nation of America. If you read the books of the Minor Prophets in the Bible, Jonah and Nahum, you will discover what the nation of Nineveh did when they were confronted with their sin and what happened to them when they didn’t heed the warnings given to them. Nineveh was the leading military power in the world at that time and they conquered many. However their sin rose up to God and He would eventually destroy them for they scoffed at His word and didn’t listen to the warnings. Read these books, they are short but to the point.
Now enter America…
We are the supposedly the leading military power in the world and a very [debt-ridden] prosperous land but we have scorned Almighty God and turned away from Him in every area of our lives. We are rebellious to His existence and resist His authority. Flat out … we have rejected Him in our lives, from the White House to the Church House. Oh yes, there’s a remnant of solid believers and they are true to Him and His word. But the rest of the nation is full of hate, filth, lust and sexual immorality. God is and will deal with us but the question is how?
In Nahum 1:3-8, we find how He might do it. Through nature and the weather!!
He isn’t going to make an appearance on TV to give an announcement, He’s not taken out ads in newspapers or magazines. He’s not traveling around in a bus caravan proclaiming to all states and cities. He’s speaking through His creation – nature and the weather.
The Lord said through the prophet Nahum that He is in the storm and the whirlwind (tornadoes and hurricanes). He is rebukes the sea and dries up the rivers. Nature’s growth is impacted. He’s in the volcanoes as the hills melt and He speaks through wildfires and the earth is burned. And He speaks through the flood waters. Friends, reading these things and seeing the devastating calamities striking the US, even right now, and the rest of the world, is He not warning us to get right before Him? Or will we ignore His signs and our only fate is that of Nineveh? IMO, this is not global warming nor is it attributable to climate change. These are terms that mankind (the political left) has labeled these events to lie and deceive. God controls every event and every situation. The truth is that God is warning us to return to Him and His ways or else!
Turn over to the book of Amos and read Amos 3:9-11. Now this time ancient Israel is in focus and the Lord says the why’s of their imminent destruction. Then the how’s. Could this happen to America? I say it absolutely yes it could! Look at the military movements of Russia and China against our borders through what they are doing militarily from north to south, east to west. IMHO, unless America turns back to the God of the Bible and we forsake our sinful ways in sincere repentance, God will deal with America as He dealt with other nations as depicted in the Bible and for our reference (1 Cor 10:11; 1 Cor 10:6; Rom 15:4). This is no joke, and this is no game. Right now, America is in deep trouble spiritually. We had better heed the signs in the weather, and in nature for this is God calling to us to get back to Him in our nation and our lives.
How about you, are you right with God? Do you know Him? Do you follow His ways? Do you seek His face in prayer daily? Have you and do you repent of your sins? Time to reassess and consider eternity.
