BP Commentary: Prepared and Ready or Confused and Unfocused?

It’s totally a reality that we here in America are focused more on social compromise and pleasing than we are on the reality of where the world is at in terms of conflict, unrest and war. So being once the most powerful nation that has ever existed, we now are dazed and confused about who and what we are supposed to be especially in the area of the military. Bottom-line – we have become a joke (a hissing and scorn) to our enemies.

“All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? 16- All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it..” -Lam 2:15-16 (KJV)

Instead of focusing on our ability to fight and defend our land we are engaged in all types of social programs designed to please and satisfy all the emerging groups. Even in our universities we are more interested in promoting the “snowflake” generation than concentrating our energies on academic excellence. Now this is a tragedy!

The world is looking straight in the face of extreme wars and conflict so how are we preparing? With transgender shower policies…? Really?

America has turned into a sexually perverted nation and has stepped and crushed the precepts and laws of Almighty God. How do you think America will fare in the next war/s? Almighty God was with us in WW1 and WW2 but how about now? We have told Him through our actions to get lost and I firmly believe He has left this once great nation to it’s own devices wallowing in a cesspool of iniquities and sins.

“This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.” – Zep 2:15 (KJV)

Can America turn around? Yes, but it will take monumental work. First, the White House has to let God back in. Then we need to get down to asking some serious forgiveness of our corporate sin. The we need to seriously seek repentance for our gross and profane sin. Serious repentance! Not man-pleasing rhetoric but God-pleasing and sincerely meant; a u-turn in our actions and attitudes.

If America does not follow the directions laid out plainly in the Bible to return to God, we will fall like other historically great nations – i.e. Babylon, Israel, Judah, Rome. We must make America great again through God not through the whims of a man or group of men. It”s time to get it right America and get right with God. Remember, the snowflakes will melt and be like women, the warriors will win and be strong.

Wars are on the horizon. They will be terrible and people who are not prepared for them will suffer immensely. The question is – is America ready to fight and win or compromise and please?
