My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Russia Makes its Moves :
Russia is making, it seems, a comeback on the world scene as a military super-power, leaving the US in its trail of dust and smoke. They are gaining momentum all over the world in making new in-roads with nations, powers and kingdoms. This is a chilling reality. Why? The Gog/Magog war; a prophecy found in Ezekiel 38 is taking shape and the players are getting ready. And two of the big ones are Russia and Iran; Egypt and Saudi will also add to this force plus several others. These will all come against Israel but they will not prevail – they will be defeated and most of their armies will be destroyed. Read about it in Eze 38 and 39; the Lord’s prophetic word is sure and He will accomplish it. God’s word is sovereign.
