My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Extreme Weather:
The Lord sometimes uses the weather for mercy, for correction and sometimes for judgment. Could this extreme weather be a message for us to pay attention? Look at the gross unrepentant sin of America and the UK and then decide for yourself. Is this a wake up call to the world here in the winter now? Is He giving many the chance to turn [back] to Him? Remember, all the summer storms across the globe? Will it get worse? Yes – according to Bible Prophecy; read Revelation 6-19. Are you right with God Almighty today?
God loves us folks beyond our imagination and He wants us to turn to Him. But His love also warrants His justice, which is coming. Prior to His Second Coming the world will feel His wrath. Why? Rampant sin with no remorse, little confession and little repentance.
“The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” – Nahum 1:3 (KJV)
“Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.” -Isa 29:6 (KJV)
“By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. 11- Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: 12- And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. 13- He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.” -Job 37:11-13 (KJV)
