Increasing Global Unrest
If you watch mainstream news you get just a smidgeon of what is really happening throughout the world today. For the rest of world events you will have to dig it out of alternative media (Internet). In the past 60 days we have reports of violent protests over a park redevelopment in Turkey. In Brazil just recently, more than a million people across 100 cities took part in a wave of protests over high ‘bus’ fares.
And everyone should know about last week’s overthrow of Mohamed Morsi, the now disposed president of Egypt. Many millions involved in these violent protests, many killed and injured. In Syria, the carnage and death continues. Some say over 100,000 dead so far in this two year civil strife. Russia has been their ‘guardian’ if you will with Iran standing side by side with this ruthless dictator and author of countless innocent murders.
US scandals are incredible – IRS abuses, Benghazi, government agency wasteful expenditure of taxpayer money, recent Snowden whistle blowing. And the latest release of the NSA spying on citizens indiscriminately. There have been protests across the US concerning this recent disclosure. Even HS violence is increasing.
What is this all about? Could these things be signaling the end of days as recorded in many places prophesied in the Bible? I believe, yes they are. In the Book of Revelation, chapter 6 we have 6 scroll seals that are broken by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Now it doesn’t indicate when this will occur but we can look at the signs of the times to possibly get an answer. Seal One – the White horse and rider releases false Christ’s coming to conquer, seal Two – the Red horse and rider – releases global unrest or the removal of peace and the release of wars, seal Three – the Black horse and rider – releases global increases in food prices and a possible global collapse of financial systems, seal Four – the Pale horse and rider with his follower of Death and Hades – releases global death by sword, famine, pestilence and wild beasts.
The global unrest and the removal of peace we are hearing and seeing could be the release or the increase of an already released Red horse and rider resulting in the increase of his payload upon mankind. So much tension, hate, war, killing, human unrest, political upheavals, governments in chaos, and I haven’t said one thing about the extreme weather we have and are and will face. And much more war is coming. There is something happening to the people and the earth that has never played out in prophesy like it is today. These things are terrible because they bring much destruction and fear and death. But they are exciting because we know that the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ could be very soon (although not sooner than at least seven years). Do you know the Lord as your Savior and Redeemer today? If not, please do not delay in accepting His free gift of salvation; confess Him as your Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead and you shall be saved – Rom 10:9-13.
