A must read article showing proof that America is sick! Why? We have shunned Almighty God and told Him to leave our midst. Now I am not saying all American’s have done this but many have almost without conscious. Abortion, greed, lust, crime, hate, deceit, deception, lies, brutality, HS, non-traditional marriage, unholiness, etc have fueled this rebellion against Godly values and the driving force is Satan depression, possession and oppression. Read 2 Tim 3:1-5 for an itemized list (18) of the characteristics of mankind in these last days. America is decaying with enthusiasm. Idols (electronic gizmos, homes, TV, careers, etc) have replaced seeking God and reading His word, idols in the heart (power, greed, pleasure, position, control) have replaced praying.
>>> Christian churches should be standing tall and speaking out against this sickness and decay but instead are bent on building bigger and better ‘palaces’. They base their ministries on personal truth and not God’s truth. They mesmerize attendees with a watered-down Gospel full of entertaining contemporary rhetoric and drama. They are wrapped up in committees, school funding concerns, endless counseling, and most are worn thin so focusing on the Gospel and people’s souls become secondary. What is the most important? Some pastors even read books by ‘prominent’ authors and build their Christian ministry agenda on them instead of God’s word. They preach what ‘they’ want and not based on the full council of the Lord. Many pastors are greedy, controlling, close-minded, power hungry and blind to the very things they preach. Some put on a garment of false humility and think that they can fool people. Albeit it’s the Christians who are in tune with the Lord and led by the Holy Spirit that are keenly aware of their ruse and can see through their false humility and religiosity. And all this is right here in America in 2013. <<<
Yes, all this is disheartening but look at where this nation was say back in the 1950 and where it is today. America’s denial of God has almost put us in the class of a pagan nation – we are but inches behind the ‘de-Goding’ of the UK. Will America turn back to God? Will they turn back to the solid foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Consider…
