Bible Prophecy Commentary – Israel:

It's truly amazing to watch the apparent ongoing deterioration occurring between Israel and the US. Why so much pressure for a peace that will never last? Israel neighbors want them destroyed, cleared off the map; peace will not come until the Lord returns and sets up His kingdom. The ancient hatred continues – Eze 35:5 and Eze 25:15 – between ancient Edom or the territory of Esau (modern Jordan) and the Jews or the descendants of Jacob. Eze 25 refers to the land of the ancient Philistines or now the home of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The PA is a part of descendants of Esau and they are not likely to abandon their hatred so easily at least until a final confrontation/s occurs.

The Bible prophesies this endless hatred will end in an Arab-Israeli war or wars in the latter days – i.e. Psa 83 and Eze 38.

Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.

Bible Prophecy Commentary – America:

Closing 22 embassies for the perceived threat of al-Qaeda… Yes this was good for trying to protect the lives of people in those embassies but what does the future look like for what once was the most powerful military force in the world? Is America cowering before its enemies? We are already reducing our military spending and at the same time bolstering the military strength of [an unstable] Egypt which is now in the hands of a questionable leader. Good for evil and evil for good – exactly as prophesied in Isa 5:20

So is America in Bible Prophecy…? No and perhaps this is a contributing reason why we don't find it there.

Bible Prophecy Commentary:

Signs in the sun… Is something like this coming to actually hit the earth? The Eze 38:15 (KJV) war talks of  "And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:…"This verse talks of horses being used as elements of this war. Will a global sun event cause weapons we use today to be neutralized and we are thrown back into fighting with weapons of days gone by? Who knows … just something to consider.

Please consider that a disaster like this can happen almost at any time. Make sure you are right with God and Jesus Christ is your Savior today. Once you step into eternity it will be too late to make a decision to accept Him.

 

Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.
