My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Demonic Activity:
People think that Halloween is a cute and fun [family] event filled with candy gathering, pretty and evil costumes and haunted houses. But I submit to you to be extremely careful because of the evil realm of the spirit world, unseen but very much a reality, which gets invited in when you open the door on [evil] Halloween activities.
When you ‘play’ with the elements characteristic of this dark date you can become entangled with this demonic realm (demons and unclean spirits) and thereby invite all kinds of negative baggage to come in and start to affect your life. The forces in this spiritual realm may cause small afflictions at first but nevertheless unless you repel them or flee from them, they will grow bolder. They will manifest in increasing negativism, hate, dislike, complaining, wickedness, arguing, etc.
Opening the door by promoting evil in the form of ghosts, blood, guts, evil costumes, etc can escalate into the realm of the occult. Satan is glorified in these things at this time of the year and he and his minions play havoc with people’s minds in fear, terror, horror and more drastic situations animal sacrifices, etc.
The article above is spot-on in stating that Americans have become ‘desensitized’ and I believe callous to these things and readily opens the door to demonic activity of all types. Folks, it’s time to CLOSE THE DOOR on these things. Flee from evil in any form … today. Churches – pastors, elders, priests, bishops – preach on these things, don’t gloss-over or candy coat their importance to Christians especially in the day in which we live now.
