My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Unusual Natural Events For Signs, Messages, Correction, Fear:
According to Bible Prophecy, many unusual and proliferated earthly and heavenly events will occur in these last days – the days before the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some to amazement and some for great wonder and fear. Men’s hearts will be caught up in great fear so these events will not be just of the status quo, normal or everyday type. God has used many natural events to warn mankind of His wrath and has used some for correction -Job 37:13. Many times these events preclude or accompany prophetic events. His Second Return to earth will be marked by many such events. The earth has gone through, is going through, and will go through some pretty amazing and scarey convulsions based on end times prophecy found in the Book of Revelation. Make no mistake that in the days ahead they will dramatically increase.
We learn in the above article that seven volcanoes have erupted more or less simultaneously (within a matter of hours) in six different countries all across the world. In the last days, we shall see the fury, anger and the wrath of God prevalent in natural events never seen before. Some of those will be volcanoes, some earthquakes, some [as we are seeing now] in floods, fires and whirlwinds (tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones). Consider the following verses…
“For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.” – Isa 66:15 (KJV)
“Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.” -Isa 13:13 (KJV)
“Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.” – Psa 18:7 (KJV)
“He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.” – Psa 104:32 (KJV)
“Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence” -Isa 64:1 (KJV)
“The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.” -Nahum 1:5 (KJV)
