My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Rumors of War:

Jesus said specifically in Matt 24:6-7, that in the last days there would be wars and rumors of wars. This is quite evident today – around the world. Israel is striving for survival amidst a regime that wants their total destruction. Iran’s deception also seems to be a part of this diplomatic quagmire. The US has played right into the hands of Iran with sanction easing and allowing them to continue with their nuke program. This ‘deal’ doesn’t even require Iran to abandon its nuclear program – how pathetic!

Israel, I believe, is warning the rest of the world that it will soon act since the west’s superpowers fizzled out for any type of action. Mere words will not get this done. Get ready folks, things may ramp up to war in the Middle East.

On the China-Japan front only time will tell what will happen. Nevertheless, they are striking up the war talk and the drums are starting to beat.

It’s something that may not occur for a few years yet, however, no one knows for sure. Needless to say, it could cause huge problems for humans living on this planet. Remember in scripture the prophecies for the last days before Christ’s return will be filled with signs in the sun, moon and star with great distress and fear for the things coming upon the earth – Luke 21:25-26. But do not fear for the Son of Man – our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – is coming in all Glory and will establish His reign upon the earth in peace and rest.

My Bible Prophecy Commentary – Financial Woes:

Get ready folks, I don’t think this will pass us by. You can’t keep spending money you don’t have and expect things to remain peachy, rosy, stable and intact. The world is lock-stepped into massive debt and can’t seem to escape … look at what’s still happening in Europe. More here.

Silver and gold will be thrown into the streets in the days leading up to the return of Jesus Christ – Eze 7:19. IMO, faith in Christ will be the only thing people will have in the terrible times ahead – 2 Tim 3:1-5. And even then many will fall away (apostasy) from the faith and choose easier more worldly paths – Amos 8:11. Our financial woes today are expedited by greed, pride, power and lust. Man has walked away from God and has followed his own ways – Isa 53:6, doing what is right in his own eyes and not God’s – Judges 21:25.
