Persecution of Christians is prophesied to increase in the last days – Matt 24:9-10;  2 Timothy 3:12; Rev 20:4. Get ready folks … it’s upon us and ramping up. Will this come to America? Look what happened to the unrepentant, wicked, violent and arrogant Nineveh: Nahum 1:1-3; 3:1-13 – read especially verse 13. Is America any different today? They were an example for us NOT to follow … so what are we doing?

Where is America Headed?

Bible Prophecy Commentary:  America – Financial Troubles Ahead:

Where is this once great nation headed? We are in rapid decline all across the board – morally, financially, politically, spiritually and our society is becoming a cesspool of  wickedness. We have had extreme weather grip our nation and take its toll on people’s lives and livelihood. Where is it all this headed?

Can I ask you to read the books of Jonah and Nahum (Biblical minor prophets – ca 760BC and 615BC, respectively) and examine for yourself the conditions of the kingdom of Assyria and its capital of Nineveh – wickedness, violence and immorality. Jonah reluctantly went and preached to the nation and how it would be destroyed in 40 days. The king listened and all the people repented; the Lord withheld His judgment against the city. Approx. 100 years later, Nahum was sent to Nineveh to preach about their relapse into wickedness, sin, idolatry, violence and arrogance. They didn’t heed Nahum’s message and the city was captured by the Babylonian’s.

America is not listening to God and is now caught up in much wickedness, violence, immorality, idolatry and arrogance. What will be the plight of this once Godly nation – one that upheld the principles of the Bible both in society and government? Time will tell but the prognosis doesn’t look good. There is evidence all around us that our societal structure is collapsing and the security and stability of our dollar is under a heavy load of debt and also despair from other nations that seemingly don’t need or want our dollar anymore..

It is time to wake up and pray to Almighty God asking forgiveness for our sins and repenting thereof. But as we saw in the Nineveh situation it seems it must start from the top – with our government. Will it happen? If enough people stand in the gap in prayer, perhaps. Remember, God will not be mocked and if America continues on this course God will bring ultimate judgment.

Bible Prophecy Commentary – Signs in the Earth Beneath:

“Moving to their summer locations?”  Activity at Yellowstone may mean something and may not but it’s good to be aware of what is happening. Is it about to erupt or …? Why are the animals leaving?

“And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:” – Acts 2:19 (KJV)

2 Tim 3:1-5, says the last days will be terrible. Is a Yellowstone eruption part of this terrible? Lot’s of unknown answers but don’t scoff as we don’t know what tomorrow may bring. Keep in God’s word, seek His truth and keep your eyes and ears open.
