Bible Prophecy Commentary – Russia’s Putin – Prince of Gog?

Russia is standing alone against the west and as the sanctions bite harder we can expect Russia to bite back nonetheless.

We know that there is a war coming against Israel that will involve a land to the far north of Israel. This is Biblically described in Eze 38 and 39. It includes the land of Rosh which is presumed to be Russia and it aligns itself with other nations namely – Magog, Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, and Togarmah. Ezekiel is told by Almighty God to set his face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Russia is taking a stand in his geopolitical advancements in the Ukraine and I believe the rest of the European nations are intimidated and can I say, scared. Russia has not been sitting on their thumbs. They have increased the magnitude and effectiveness of their military establishment. They are therefore a force to be aware of and one to not to underestimate.

President Putin displays a cold, hard, tough and unemotional stature and facial resolve. He is sure about his actions and has not (and I believe will not) cave to western sanctions or … This ‘new’ Russia will play a huge part in world affairs in the future days, months and years. But is he the Prince of Gog? Perhaps but maybe a little to early to tell. And is this Prince a human or a spiritual prince in the army of darkness? It could be either or both. I think it’s a demonic prince empowering and directing the leader whoever that turns out to be.

We should be watching Russia closely and what they say and do. Who they align themselves with; who are their allies and who are their trusted friends. Russia is a superpower and they could now surpass the US in terms of overall military effectiveness, readiness and resolve. Research the news on the US military and see how it is seemingly decreasing in functionality, preparedness and resolve.


Keep alert, keep watch, keep your eyes on Israel and keep in prayer.

Bible Prophecy Commentary – Pale Horse of Revelation Could Be Delivering His Payload!

These headlines above are shocking and attention-getting! I could add many more headline articles via links but my post then would be too large to even review it. I think by these listed above you get my point – the world is being stirred up and it’s not for good. In fact, as we’ll see for the worse.

When you read/study the Book of Revelation, which I believe every Christian should, you will discover the first four seals that Jesus removes from the scroll handed to Him by the Father are, IMO, now broken and unleashed – Rev 6:1-8.

  • First Seal – White horse – much deception, false Christs, false prophets
  • Second Seal – Red Horse – war and rumors of war, peace removed
  • Third Seal – Black Horse – Economic turmoil and high food prices
  • Fourth Horse – Pale Horse – Sword, famine, death and pestilences/wild beasts (as men, IMO)

The horses have been riding since Christ was crucified and little by little we can see these plagues upon mankind getting unfolding. It’s a crescendo of darkness unraveling. The sword represents war which mankind has been engaged in since the beginning. Why? Sin. We can see the Pale horse riders and their payload increasing almost by the day – ISIS on the move, now in Lebanon, Israeli-Gaza war, Russia on the doorsteps of Ukraine ready to dust it up on them. Pestilences on the rise especially with this latest Ebola outbreak. AIDS is another. Friends, it’s getting worse and this cannot be denied. Why? Last days before Christ things will get bad. No icing on the cake or butter on the bread covering over what is happening in the world and what will happen. How can you be prepared? Maybe not much in resources but how about in your faith and trust? There is hope and that is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Where’s your faith today? In whom? In what? Money, wealth, material possessions? I hope not. Where’s your trust? In whom? In what? I hope that it’s in Jesus Christ; He can be your Lord and Savior if you confess Him and put your faith and trust in Him. Call on the Lord – He will hear you (Psa 145:8). Then read Romans 10:9-13 on how to be saved.

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh … Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” -Luke 21:28, 36 (KJV)

Many underestimate what is happening in the parallel universe just on the other side of our current dimension. Many don’t know of the tremendously fierce demonic battles going on between the forces of darkness and the forces of Light in God (the God of the Bible that is). Read Daniel Chapter 10 for a glimpse of what he experienced through God’s angelic messengers and warriors. There is a very real spiritual side that our eyes cannot see right now. This dimension contains angelic warriors (good and evil) engaged in constant battles over people and nations.

ISIS is just one of the armies led by demonic hoards of hell. There are others also very real and present in the world today. Some of the most terrible ones are: Boko Haram in South Africa. al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Taliban, Al-Shabaab, etc. What about the crime that is increasing in our nation and the world. Senseless, killings at our schools, and in public places. What do you think is behind all this? I can tell you plainly – demons – infecting the minds and souls of men! John 10:10 says that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. Satan is the thief and he is after as many as he can – pulling them down into the pits of hell. Don’t be deceived there is a real horrific war for your soul going on in the spiritual realm and it will get worse as the last days progress. I am not joking – read 2 Tim 3:1-5, 2 Cor 4:4, 1 Tim 4:1, Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 17, 21, 2 Th 2 – and these are but a few verses that explain the darkness coming in the days before Christ’s return. Why? Sin, iniquity, rebellion, rejection, unfaithfulness, Godlessness, lawlessness, unbelief and the list goes on. Don’t be caught in the Devil’s web of deceit. Instead stand firm in Christ and obliterate, annihilate, destroy and tear down the strongholds of fear, unbelief, doubt that so easily befall those of little faith – 2 Cor 10:4.

I pray you are saved through Christ our Lord – Rom 10:9-10. I pray that you are standing strong as a prayer warrior in God’s army here on earth. I pray that you are reading your Bible daily and praying for strength, courage and wisdom. Lean on Jesus friends, trust in Him (Prov 3:5-8), shore up your faith in Him. These will be anchors to your soul as the days get darker and darker.
